Gentrification

The Harlem Brewery & Pub project in Harlem, NYC is currently on hold due to challenges with gentrification and the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic there were many issues with the growing cost of real estate and during the pandemic we saw more than 70% of sales lost to retail closures and reduced capacities. Then came displacement due to unexpected  seizure and sale of the building at 453 W. 141st Street (more on that later), the location of our Harlem Brewdio (AirBnBeer Experience) which functioned as a live work space  space we occupied
